| General description【一般描述】 | NANOG is a gene expressed in embryonic stem cells (ESCs) and is thought to be a key factor in maintaining pluripotency. NANOG thought to function in concert with other factors such as POU5F1 and SOX2 to establish ESC identity. These cells offer an important area of study because of their ability to maintain pluripotency. In other words, these cells have the ability to become virtually any cell of any of the three germ layers (endoderm, ectoderm, mesoderm). |

| Application【应用】 | This Anti-Nanog Antibody is validated for use in FC, WB for the detection of Nanog. Western blotting: 1:1,000-1:5,000. The antibody recognizes a protein of ~35 kDa on MBL-5 cell lysate. Additional bands of ~50 and ~60 kDa may be seen depending on sample and antibody dilution used. Flow Cytometry: Cormier et al., 2006. Tissue Engineering 12:3233-3245. Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.
