It is mainly produced by the liver and a wide range of extra-hepatic tissues. IGF1 is seen in normal and neoplastic breasts. The IGF1 gene is 84779 bp long and is made of 6 different exons. IGF-1 gene is located on human chromosome 12q23.2. |
