| Application【应用】 | Atto 520 is a fluorescent label with high molecular absorption (110.000) and quantum yield (0.90) as well as sufficient stoke′s shift (excitation maximum 520 nm, emission maximum 542 nm). It does nearly not show cis-trans-isomerisation, which limits brightness and reproducibility for many other dyes. Due to an insignificant triplet formation rate it is well suited for single molecule detection applications. Can be utilized in applications such as ELISA or immuno-histochemistry, in situ hybridization, flow cytometry and others, to identify streptavidin, avidin, or extravidin-conjugates. Atto-520 fluorescent-labeled biotin can be loaded onto magnetic beads coated with streptavidin through specific ligand–receptor interactions. |
