| General description【一般描述】 | The antibody detects endogenous level of total AML1(RUNX1) protein. Runt-related transcription factor 1 (RUNX1) is a transcription factor that plays a vitral role in hematopoiesis, osteogenesis and neurogenesis. It is a member of Runt-related transcription factors (RUNXs). It was first identified as a component of Polyomavirus enhancer binding protein 2 (PEBP2) and Moloney murine leukemia virus enhancer core binding factor (CBF). Three isoforms of the protein have been identified: RUNX1a, RUNX1b and RUNX1c. |

| Target description【目标描述】 | CBF binds to the core site, 5′-PYGPYGGT-3′, of a number of enhancers and promoters, including murine leukemia virus, polyomavirus enhancer, T-cell receptor enhancers, LCK, IL-3 and GM-CSF promoters. The alpha subunit binds DNA and appears to have a role in the development of normal hematopoiesis. Isoform AML-1L interferes with the transactivation activity of RUNX1. Acts synergistically with ELF4 to transactivate the IL-3 promoter and with ELF2 to transactivate the mouse BLK promoter. Inhibits MYST4-dependent transcriptional activation. |
