Anti-FEN1 antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 1.25μg/ml.

FEN-1 gene encodes a Flap structure-specific endonuclease 1 protein that belongs to XPG/RAD2 structure specific endonuclease family. It is involved in nucleotide excision repair. The protein removes the 5′ overhanging flaps in DNA repair as well as in the 5′ ends of Okazaki fragments in lagging strand DNA synthesis. FEN-1 binds Proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and increases its endonuclease activity. It acts predominantly as an exonuclease in DNA replication in contrast to its endonuclease activity in DNA repair.
