F-box and leucine-rich repeat protein 5 (FBXL5) is an iron sensor that helps regulate iron homeostasis by promoting the ubiquitination and degradation of iron-responsive element-binding protein IRP2.

Anti-FBXL5 polyclonal antibody is used to tag F-box and leucine-rich repeat protein 5 protein for detection and quantitation by Western blotting and in cells and tissues by immunohistochemical (IHC) techniques. It is used as a probe to study the possible roles of F-box and leucine-rich repeat protein 5 iron homeostasis by degradation of IRP2.
