| General description【一般描述】 | COLEC12 is a scavenger receptor that belongs to the C lectin family. This cell-surface glycoprotein has been implicated in host defense. It is also involved in the elimination of oxidatively altered LDLs by vascular endothelial cells. Furthermore, COLEC12 can recognize carbohydrate antigens on microorganisms and aid their removal. Rabbit Anti-COLEC12 recognizes human, mouse and rat COLEC12. |

This protein is a scavenger receptor, a cell surface glycoprotein that can bind to carbohydrate antigens on microorganisms facilitating their recognition and removal. In addition, these receptors can recognize oxidized phospholipids so they may also participate in removing oxidatively damaged or apoptotic cells. |
