| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | Atrial natriuretic peptide receptor A (ANPA) serves as a receptor for atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP). This receptor is implicated in various physiological and pathophysiological process, such as cell growth, apoptosis, proliferation and inflammation in several target cell and tissue. In addition, ANPA also stimulates immune and inflammatory reactions. Therefore, it is considered as a potent therapeutic target for inflammation. ANPA expression is associated with various types of cancer and is required for tumor growth. ANPA signaling is involved in regulation of stem cell recruitment and angiogenesis. |
