It prevents cells from osmosis-mediated rupture or dehydration. PBS is widely used for washing cells, immunohistochemistry, and various other cellular techniques. |
| Application【应用】 | Phosphate buffered saline has been used in sample preparation for quantifying the wound fluid proteins from pressure ulcers in patients with spinal cord injury (SCI). It has also been used for cell rinsing in various biological researches. |
