| General description【一般描述】 | The acceptor mCherry is a monomeric, red fluorescent protein obtained from the stony-coral Discosoma protein DsRED. It is expressed in the cytoplasm, has a high photostability and is unaffected by photobleaching. mCherry acts as a good FRET (fluorescence resonance energy transfer) acceptor. mCherry allows rapid fluorescence detection after a particular gene is expressed. |
