LENG4 is highly specific for arachidonoyl-coenzyme A and is involved in arachidonate recycling. It interacts with the small subunit of serine palmitoyltransferase a (ssSPTa). This interaction is important for LENG4-dependent incorporation of arachidonic acid into phosphatidylinositol. |
